High School Graduation Requirements
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR CLASSES 2025+

Graduation/Valedictorian Information:
The valedictorians of each high school’s graduating class shall include all students with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 or higher, based on all courses taken, excluding physical education courses. The valedictorian GPA calculation shall also include grades reflected on the twelve-week progress report issued during the second semester of the student’s twelfth-grade year. Students are responsible for reviewing their academic records for accuracy and must report any discrepancies to the school administration within ten days following the posting of twelve-week grades.
Students who do not meet the 4.0 GPA threshold at the time valedictorian status is determined but achieve a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher by the end of the semester will be recognized at graduation by receiving a white graduation robe. However, because official valedictorian recognition will have already been finalized, these students will not be recognized as valedictorians at the Senior Awards Ceremony, nor will their names be included as valedictorians in the graduation program.
