The Tesoro Instrumental Music Program continues to be recognized locally and nationally for its consistent level of excellence. In 2015 our program was recognized as a Grammy Foundation Signature school designating it as one of the five best programs in the nation. Our ensembles consistently earn unanimous superior ratings at district and regional festivals. Our Wind Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, and Symphony Orchestra have enjoyed successful festival performances three times at Carnegie Hall in New York, Chicago's Symphony Center and Renee and Henry Segerstrom Hall among others and have performed in England, Austria, and Switzerland. Our Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Color Guard and Drumline have all earned top awards at festivals including circuit championships for Drumline and Color Guard. Our Musical Theater Pit Orchestra earns Cappie and Macy nominations regularly and has twice won the Best Orchestra Cappie award. The Tesoro Music Program has something to offer students of all levels of experience and interests. We welcome all students and are thrilled to provide both musical and life-enriching opportunities in all we do.
