Venue: The ARTIC in Anaheim (2626 E. Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806)
Time: 7:30 - 10:00
In order to provide for a safe and fun Winter Formal Dance the following will be enforced Saturday, Jan 18, 2025:
- Students must present a CURRENT student ID to enter the dance
- Dance starts at 7:30 pm and ends at 10:00 pm
- All students will be breathalyzed and searched.
- All attendees must be checked in no later than 8:30 pm.
- Dress code will be enforced.
- Shoes and Shirts must remain on at all times
- A bag check will be available near the entrance to the dance, however, the following items are not allowed into the dance:
Large bags
Bottles or containers of any kind (ex. makeup, perfume/cologne, hand sanitizer, breath mints, etc.)
If you have a medical necessity that requires consideration, please contact Mrs. Davis-Johnson prior to the dance (pmdavis@capousd.org)
- Inappropriate dancing or behavior (cutting or pushing in lines) will result in removal from the dance (temporarily or permanently).
- If a student is removed from the dance for any reason, a parent will be notified and it is the parent’s responsibility to immediately pick up the student.
- Attendees are not allowed to leave the dance prior to 9:00 pm
- Students must be picked up within 30 minutes after the end of the dance, no later than 10:30 pm.

- THS Winter Formal 2025 Dance Attire: This dance is a formal event so be sure to dress accordingly.
- Dresses must be appropriate length which is mid-thigh, including side slit in leg. Slits on dresses or skirts that end above mid-thigh are not permitted. Dresses that expose any skin in the midriff area is not acceptable, including revealing sides and open backs below the waist.
- Strapless / spaghetti straps are allowed.
- Stretchy (lycra, spandex, bubble dresses, etc.) or tight fitting skirts that may creep up are prohibited!
- Bandeau/Tube/Scarf tops and excessively low-cut or plunging necklines are prohibited. Tops may not be low-cut and may not show midriff or sides.
- Shirts must be worn throughout the dance (undershirts may NOT be worn in lieu of shirt).
- Shoes must be worn at all times.
- No jeans or shorts are permitted
- No canes, chains or hats are permitted.
Please note:
The faculty and administrators in attendance will be the final judge of the appropriateness of dress style. Students who are dressed inappropriately will be asked to call home for a change of something more appropriate or they can be picked up to leave for the night. No students in violation of our school’s dress code will be admitted to the dance. If you have any questions about what you are going to wear, please snap a picture with the dress on and talk to Mrs. Engelken (alengelken@capousd.org) in the Administration office. They can approve/disapprove clothing before the dance so that you won’t show up to the dance only to be turned away. Because you have this option before the dance, we will not be taking questions/complaints about dress code at any time during or after the dance.
