HOMECOMING DANCE INFORMATION
 
Our annual Homecoming (HOCO) Dance is Saturday, Oct. 14 outside in our Junior Lot. There will be amusement park rides, food trucks, photo booth, music and dance floor, this is all included in the ticket price.  Students do not need to bring any money to the dance.

ALL students must present the CURRENT Student ID to enter the dance (the ticket is on their ID card when we scan them in).

No large bags or containers of any kind are allowed.  If a student has a medical need please email Mrs. Davis-Johnson (pmdavis@capousd.org) so that we are aware.  A coat check hosted by PTSA volunteers will be available.  

The dance will run from 7:30 - 10:00 pm.  Students arriving after 8:30 pm will not be allowed entrance into the dance.  The earliest a student may leave is 9:00 pm.  If you are dropping off a student, please drop them off at the front of school near the pool and tennis courts or in the senior lot.  Students driving themselves, please park in the senior lot.  Cars will not be allowed back behind the school.  

All students planning to attend the dance MUST have a signed behavior/dance contract on file, this should have been turned in at registration.

HOCO is for Tesoro students ONLY, no guests.  And, it is open to all grade levels.

Students with unserved detentions will not be allowed to purchase a ticket until the detention has been served.

TICKET PRICES

Tickets can be purchased ONLINE or at the ASB store.  If purchasing online with an ASB card, the discount will be applied at checkout.
 
Prices are currently: 
  • $65 w/ an ASB Card and $75 without
  • Tickets will not be sold 2 days prior to the dance (Oct. 12 & 13th)
  • Oct. 14 @ the Door is the final opportunity to purchase a ticket for $150 cash or credit only
Dance Rules & Guidelines

Dance Rules & Guidelines

In order to provide for a safe and fun Homecoming Dance the following will be enforced Saturday Night:

  • Students must present a CURRENT physical student ID to enter the dance
    • Dance starts at 7:30 pm and ends at 10:00 pm
  • All students will be breathalyzed and searched.
  • All attendees must be checked in no later than 8:30 pm.
  • Dress code will be enforced.
  • Food, rides and photo opportunities are all included in the ticket price.
  • A bag check will be available near the entrance to the dance, however, the following items are not allowed into the dance:
    • Large bags, bottles or containers of any kind (ex. makeup, perfume/cologne, hand sanitizer, breath mints, etc.)
    • If you have a medical necessity that requires consideration, please contact Mrs. Davis-Johnson prior to the dance (pmdavis@capousd.org)
  • Inappropriate dancing or behavior will result in removal from the dance (temporarily or permanently).
    • If a student is removed from the dance for any reason, a parent will be notified and it is the parent’s responsibility to immediately pick up the student. 
  • Attendees are not allowed to leave the dance prior to 9:00 pm
    • Anyone leaving prior to 10:00 pm will not be readmitted. 
  • Students must be picked up within 30 minutes after the end of the dance, no later than 10:30 pm.
