Honors Algebra 2/Trigonometry

Grades:  9-12          10 Credits/Year-long course
 
Prerequisites: Highly successful completion of Algebra I (including A's both semesters for students entering grades 10-12), successful completion of Geometry (including B's or better both semesters) and teacher's recommendation
 
This course is designed for the advanced mathematics student who wishes to continue with the advanced high school mathematics courses of Honors Precalculus and AP Calculus. This course contains a study of equations and inequalities, functions and their graphs, polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions and a complete course in trigonometry.  This course covers three full semesters of mathematics curriculum in one year.  It is a rigorous and fast-paced course.
